I began my career at National Door & Trim when I was 14 years old working for my family’s business. I really enjoy the family atmosphere that has always existed here.
Dedicated, passionate, hardworking team.
I enjoy the like mindedness of the team members we work with. We are all self-motivated individuals working as a team to compete every day. We strive to move the whole organization forward while serving our customers at the highest level possible.
I enjoy spending time with my wife of 31 years. We spend many summer weekends at Lake James. I am also an avid golfer, snowmobiler, road biker, and outdoorsman. I serve on the board at Van Wert Health, Van Wert Federal Savings and Loan, and the Business Development Group of Van Wert.
I got my private pilot’s license at age 24.
“Never ask someone else to do what you are not willing to do yourself.”
I had a Finance background and an opportunity opened up at National Door & Trim that would allow me to touch all areas of the company—Sales, Purchasing, Production, Logistics. The challenge and ability to influence all areas of the business was very appealing for me.
Teamwork makes the dreamwork.
Our team has small-town values and is focused on big-time results. Our team prides itself on being in business 40+years and our employees truly care about the product we produce. Our team is focused on YOU—the customer. We want to seek to understand your challenges and deliver a specific plan to accomplish your goals. Mutually beneficial relationships are the utmost important to our team.
I enjoy spending time with my wife Haley, and four sons — Archie, Jack, Thomas, and Jesse.
I am an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and love the sport of baseball.
I have been skydiving and hope to do it again someday. It is on my bucket list to attend a game in all of the Major League Baseball parks. I currently have visited 13 of them.
“Empty the tank!” This has taught me that no matter what I do in life, if I prepare and give it everything to the best of my abilities, I can live with the results.
I was looking for a growing organization and opportunity to apply my knowledge, skills and experiences. It was evident that ND&T was a culture rich and value driven organization that truly wanted me to be a part of their team.
No “I” in Team!
It’s a group of like-minded individuals driven by team results and focused on long term success. While many organizations promote “Culture” and “Partnerships”, we live those values every day. We are motivated to grow and evolve, understanding that if you are not getting better, you are getting worse, because you never stay the same.
I enjoy spending time with my wife Shanann and our four children Allyson, Abbygaile, Tyson and Nathan. My interests outside of work include working out, home improvement projects and spending time at the lake.
I am married to a twin and we have twin sons. Anyone who tells you twins always skip a generation does not know what they are talking about!
“Reality is always somewhere in the middle.” This has taught me that no matter how clear cut a situation may appear, there is always another point of view or perspective to consider.
We are big enough to make a difference in the market and small enough for each person to make a difference in the company.
Having five grandchildren close by keeps us busy. My wife and I love to travel – we don’t always agree on where though. She loves the beach and I love the mountains. I am also an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
I drove in two demolition derbies when I was 18 and 19. One of them with a cast on my arm. It is an absolute thrill.
There are many versions of this quote but this sums it up. “No one owes you anything. Life is what you make it.”
I started working at ND&T because it was our family’s business, and from day one, I felt a strong connection to the values and vision that built it. What began as a way to support something my family cared deeply about quickly became a passion of my own. I loved being part of a company that creates high-quality products and meaningful relationships—and that love for the work and the people has kept me here ever since.
Inspiring culture, continuous innovation
ND&T is built on a foundation of trust, adaptability, and quality. We pride ourselves on creating an inspiring environment for our team while consistently meeting the evolving needs of our partners. Our dedication to innovation ensures that we stay ahead in the market, making it a rewarding place to work and collaborate.
I am a big fan of being on the water, whether that’s boating or surfing. I also enjoy working out and finding new ways to stay active and energized.
Picked up and moved to the Barbeque capital of the world! (Lexington, North Carolina)
“Be comfortable in the uncomfortable.” This has always driven me to embrace challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth.
